What It's All About
Bountyful was created based on the idea that people do some really amazing things in life. We thought, quite simply, "Why not have a platform to display that to the world?"
Based on that initial idea, we formed the following four principles that form the core of our mission:
- Personal Recognition
Take stock of your accomplishments and remember how awesome you are! Add and display your achievements to build your online reputation for recognition of what you've worked hard to accomplish.
- Social Community
Happiness is better shared and makes the experience much more rewarding, so bring your friends along! Be recognized and give recognition to celebrate achievement breakthroughs. Achieve with others and challenge each other to persist and reach higher. Become a legend in a community and share how you reached success.
- Challenge Stream
Bored? Not any longer! Find other challenges to accomplish. Pick up a hobby or polish a skill. Help on a project. Establish a list of things to accomplish (bucket list) and get after it. Explore life, get more rewards out of it, and have fun! Challenge Accepted.
- Gamelike Fun
Ever wish life was more like a game? So do we. It's simply more fun! Earn points, ranks, titles, a spot on the leaderboards, team ranks, unlocks, and more for things that you do in real life. Will you or your friend have the top score? Your move.
How It Works
Here's the deal. You've done the hard work. Getting badges, points, and recognition for it is simple. Here's the Simple Six.

Take a picture or screenshot of your accomplishment.
Pics or it didn't happen! -
Upload or link to the picture in a post to earn an achievement badge.

For your viewing pleasure, we have a sample profile card on the right. This card will be a way that people can quickly view your favorite accomplishments either on Bountyful or on other sites that you've posted it to. It also gives a sampling of some of the initial features that we'll be rolling out as well as some sample achievements that you can earn.
Let's dive in.
- Your Picture
Let us see who you are when seeing how awesome you are! Choose either a real photo (highly recommended!) or another image that you'd like as your avatar.
- Your Name
Choose how you'd like to be named in the community whether using a real name or your own created one.
- Your Score
How do you stack up? Earn achievement badges to boost your score and show it to the world. Your score will be used for a number of things on the site, including rank in leaderboards, level, title, and ability to unlock new features and rewards.
- Your Level
Level up! Your level is determined by how many points you've racked up and quickly shows where you stand within the community. Higher levels allow more advanced and early unlocks, first dibs on rewards, and more.
- Your Title
That's sir to you! As you level up, you'll be able to get progressively more interesting titles. Certain achievements and other actions can unlock special titles as well as the ability to set the title of your choosing.

What have you been up to? Show a list of your favorite achievements on your card and allow people to see the full list on your profile page, by category, recency, and more.
